You're right about this, I agree with you here. Though I'm a deist, I feel like Richard Dawkins' atheist school of thought is the anti-theist one. He's just not a radical one. When I was opportuned to talk to Darrin Raspberry, the author of a piece that winner01 posted here about his return to theism, he said after a while he became fed up with the atheist movement of the 80s/90s because they were more like anti-theists.
If atheism is where you research and logical thinking has led you, it's great as no one can claim to know it all and we're all searching for the truth. I'm also for continuously questioning religious beliefs of those around you if religion has a negative impact on you/your society. But when it turns to anti-theism then I have a problem because you become no different from the religious people you're against. So as not to cause confusion, let me site an example of anti-theism to my understanding.

I saw this post on Instagram where a girl's mother died, and the caption under the picture was 'May god keep your soul'. Granted, you don't believe in god. But I don't think its fair to go out of your way and leave a nasty comment such as 'god doesn't exist. . .your mother's dead stop deceiving yourself. god couldn't save your mother from dying so what help does he want give now?'
I feel that was totally unnecessary, that's what I classify as anti-theism

They want creationism taught in schools
They don't want gays to have rights
They are against abortion( even if it is to save a life)
The catholic church preached against the use of condoms
They basically want everything thier way
And when there are people fighting back you say they are anti- Christianity or anti- Islam

Such person must have seen God Almighty through the perspective of the Christians whose god is Yahweh. I don't think any Hinduist or any worshipper of the REAL OLORUN would ever see GOD ALMIGHTY in that manner.

I don't blame such person anyway. He's actually hating the wrong person(GOD ALMIGHTY) not knowing that Yahweh(Satan) is the one to be hated. May the LIGHT OF GOD ALMIGHTY QUICKLY REVEAL THE FULL TRUTH TO US ALL, AMEN!!!

It's very much justifiable to hate characters which doesn't exist. For example, the character of Lord Voldermort in the Harry Potter storybook is hated by many, yet Voldemort isn't real.

Mind you, I'm not saying that Yahweh isn't real. But I'm only letting you know that an atheist could decide to hate his character as it appear in the tale book(called Bible).

No you won't look like an idiot if others are ignorantly claiming that Spiderman is real when he is not. You would try all your best to convince the people that Spiderman is not real. BTW, don't use Spiderman as an example because as much as I know of Spiderman character, it is far far holier than satan(yahweh).Maybe you should look for another character in a film who is a villain.
