May God have mercy on this country. Stealing is never right, but is this the right punishment for a 7-year-old kid who attempted to steal garri from a trader?
At Badagry area of Lagos, today, the 16th of November, this little boy was beaten and burnt alive because he was starving. The police did absolutely nothing. People stood around, fathers and mothers, and watched this boy be torn to death and set ablaze. Couldn't they have punished him in a more humane way? Or just let him go? Or even give him the useless garri and then let him go?
May his soul rest in the LORD's bosom. He was just a kid.

OMG! This is so wrong? What is wrong with people? Why are people this angry/mean? Yes, he stole but he's just a child. He was hungry and needed something to eat for crying out loud. Mehn, this way beyond me! I'm not applauding him, but burning him to death is madness and all those behind this act will never go unpunished.

Btw, Why are we this hard to the "common" criminals on the street while the real criminals are allowed to walk freely? Can't we transfer this kind of vexation to them? I'm just speechless and confused

My prayer is that as many as put forth their hands to terminate the life of this 7yrs old boy will meet death at the point of their own needs, at the point where they will be seeking for help but will receive death. I shall never be well for them. No pastor or lmam shall deliver them and Heaven shall shut against them in Jesus Name.

And the most painful part is that people stood there...... staring. Enjoying the sight of a poor child who didn't beg to be born being charred. This is just too sad....

I don't in any way encourage stealing but this is very bad burning him to death even after that beating this is so wrong

I don't know what the Bleep is wrong with some people that's how a man who stole 1.2million was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment whereas our politicians who stole billions are still working free

When u tell people be responsible and give birth to children or child u can cater for as a man or as a woman.. They no go hear.. Teenagers getting pregnant as if pregnancy is running out of fashion. The boy or man who completed the act with his sperm will run away, leaving the girls to face the music alone.
Children without parents full everywhere, no proper family unit. It's either single dad or single mum.

Now see this poor boy, who was starving but had to steal to eat.. cry

The parents of the boy, the people who lynched and burnt him. Alive, will never go. Unpunished. God will never forgive them. Never!

Boys, men pack your blockos one place if u know u are not ready to be a father.
Girls, ladies close that hole.. If u know u can't take care of yourself, how much more an innocent child.
Let people be responsible for their sexual actions for once in their lives.
