The body of father of Billionaire business man Sir Emeka Offor was today laid to rest with a golden casket in his country home Oraifite in Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State.

During the funeral service held at All Saints Anglican Church Parish Irefi Oraifite, the Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma lambasted politicians for enriching themselves with our common wealth. Bishop Chukwuma condemned the manner by which national assembly members especially those representing various states of the South-East live a greedy lifestyle and always end up representing themselves at the national assembly. The Anglican Bishop also commended President Buhari for his anti-corruption spirit and said that days are gone when the wallets of Senators were filled with dollars. However, he condemned the rude manner that the DSS invaded the residences of judges.

Bishop Chukwuma also urged Sir Emeka Offor not to be deceived for seeing numerous dignitaries at the event as some of them came so that they will gain his support politically.

Dignitaries at the event include Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, Former Senate President Ken Nnamani, Wife of the Anambra State Governor Mrs Ebele Obiano, the Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr. Nkem Okeke, oil magnate Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku, politicians, traditional rulers among others.
