#PART 2 Do turn your phone off before the interview session. Do have a high confidence and energy level, but do not be overly aggressive. Do close the interview by telling the interviewer(s) that you are very interested in working for the company and ask what the next step would be. Do follow up with writing thank you letters within 24 hours to the interviewer (s) each person who you interviewed with. Don't say anything negative about former colleagues, supervisors, or employers. Don't ever lie. Answer questions truthfully, frankly and succinctly. Don't answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no." Give examples briefly. Don't be soft-spoken. Project confidence in your voice. Don't answer phone calls during the interview. Don’t dominate an interview session. Don’t stare – It’s always important to maintain eye contact, but there’s definitely a limit. Don’t make it too intense. Don’t play with your pen/hair Don’t keep your hands in your pockets during an interview. Don’t be overconfident – Arrogance is not a good look. Walking into an interview thinking that you have already got the job can be detrimental. Remember: arrogance and confidence is not the same thing. 1 Like 1 Share |
