Hello guys, please how do I pause a download on play store? I'm downloading via wifi but it's obvious I can't finish it that same day, so Is there anyway it can be paused and resumed later and also that it won't cancel even if my phone switches off.

No way. Don't click download if you are not ready to download

Well there is a trick I use.when downloading and u want to stop just off the network while downloading process is going on but don't close the play store,u can minimise away 4m play store or even off the fone but just don't slide d play store off,den whenever u have data again just on ur network back,it will continue downloading 4m where it stops....Note: This only works on android u don't use for chatting because anytime ur data is on,the downloading will continue and also even wen downloading for d first time u don't let d data get exhausted while it is downloading...for example u have 1GB,u can mek it download to 900mb so it won't get stuck and start again

That's not an ideal solution. I tried this and after a few hours, Play Store disable the download.

this was posted a long time ago and google play have been upgraded several times after that so there is tendencies things have changed but back then it works most of the time for me after several hours apart.. and i said it was a trick not an official way for it
