The federal government has assured private investors in the transport sector of support through the provision of conducive atmosphere for their businesses to thrive.

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi gave the assurance on Monday at the maritime stakeholders’ appreciation night organised by the Nigerian Shippers’ Council.

The minister who was represented by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Zabiu Zakari commended the council for hosting the private sector saying that such initiative is an important means of adding value to the sector. Read more
