Following the Senate suspension of the Internet Data price hike mandated by the NCC, Nigeria's telecom regulator has withdrawn a directive to mobile phone operators to increase prices of internet data. In a statement, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said the decision had been taken following complaints from consumers across the country and consultations with mobile phone firms. Editor's Note: This is a win win for all consumers and heavy internet users. No more price hike on December 1st again.
