TOTAL DARKNESS AT OKODUWA STREET, DILLION STREET, COMFORT OBOH STREET, FOR YEARS, AT KIRIKIRI INDUSTRIAL AREA, KIRIKIRI TOWN, LAGOS STATE

Okoduwa Street, Comfort Oboh Street and Dillion Street are located at Kirikiri Industrial Area, Kirikiri Town, Lagos State near Kirikiri prison.
At this age and time in Lagos State, these streets usually have light only one day in a week, and this light only lasted for about 4 hours which means that EKEDP only give high to these street only 16 hours in one month. Shamefully at the end of the month, they will deliver estimated exorbitant bill to the tune of N35, 000 for Darkness.
The irony of it all is that just one pole distance from these street, the other street, like AlahunOzumba, Mazamaza and First gate usually have light almost 24 hours every day, if you are going to work in the morning and coming back in the evening, you will see that this light are there, what a suffering that you see light everyday but you don’t have light.
When we went to the service manager to enquired why these street like Okoduwa Street, Comfort Oboh Street and Dillion Street are in Total Darkness while the next street is having light 24 hours every day, we were told that our light have been given to Bank, like Eco Bank, First Bank, Access Bank at mazamaza and Fidelity Bank and Diamond Bank at First gate
One wonder if we are in the same country, why Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP) will choose whom to give light and whom not give. Is Nigeria now a zoo?
The worst is that when you report to service manager at beach land undertaken, he is so arrogant and you will wonder indeed how he became the manager.
The manager have decided to give light to these bank at the expense of these other Street because of what he take home apart from his salary every month. Enough is enough.
Again, we were surprised when the marketer told us that they are not the one presently computing the bills, that their boss at marina gives them these estimated bills and ask them to go and deliver it to their customers. Is Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN our Amiable minister reading this, because some bad eggs is almost destroying the good work you are doing, we therefore advice that the minister or whoever that is in charge to use his/her esteem office to give light to this 3 Streets now.
