It is built in a special new way using five proprietary technologies,
1. Silica crystalline state electrolyte and its preparation method.

With these technologies we successfully developed the lead-crystal battery (range of batteries). It became the ideal replacements of lead-acid and gel batteries.
As a result of self-designed SiO2 cleaning composite electrolyte to replace conventional sulfuric acid solution, as well as a number of unique advanced technologies to give the lead-crystal battery its many excellent properties: long use life, good high/low temperature characteristics, environmental safety, and stable working ability.

The Advantages Of Lead Crystal Battery

1. Lead crystal batteries in comparison to lead-acid batteries have unparalleled advantages.

a. Longer battery life
The typical lead-acid or lead-gel battery normally charges and discharges in a storage application for about 800 to1200 cycles, whilst lead-crystal batteries can cycle from 2000 to 2500 times under the same working conditions, the cycle variation of each battery type is dependent on the depth of discharge set. Test results show that Lead Crystal batteries have a much longer life expectancy compared to lead-acid or lead-gel batteries. The life expectancy of Lead Crystal batteries is 10-12 year while lead-acid batteries are 3-5 years, making lead crystal ideally suited for applications such as energy storage in a domestic home.

b. Shelf Life
Lead Crystal Batteries discharge very slow under fully charged conditions whilst the units are stored or transported. Even after being stored for two years, lead crystal batteries can be immediately used without any charge. The 2V series can keep more than 99.9% of the capacity even after a two month period of not being used. This simplifies the logistics of fully charged batteries immensely as batteries in stock do not need to be cycled out of stock to be charged every few months.

c. High-rate discharge
Special lead-crystal battery technology allows for high-rate discharge characteristics, the general lead-acid batteries work optimally at discharge rates of only 3C, while lead crystal battery discharge can reach up to 10C.

d. Excellent charge performance
Lead crystal batteries would normally require a charge time of only 20% of the time required for charging a lead acid battery. This simplifies battery maintenance dramatically.

e. Depth of discharge
A Lead crystal battery can be discharged to 0 Volt, and will still restore to the full rated capacity, whilst a lead-acid battery will restore with difficulty, and more than likely not recover at all in this condition. This effectively increases the usable battery capacity of a lead crystal battery with 25%, if compared with it is lead-acid equivalent.

f. Low temperature resistance
Lead crystal batteries can function in temperature ranges of -40 to +50 degrees Celsius, and can deliver more than 85% of its rated capacity at minus 40 degrees Celsius. Lead-acid batteries normally would sharply loose their discharge ability under sub-zero conditions.

g. Green
Lead crystal batteries use new materials, new processes and new formulations. There is no mist or a harmful, gaseous emission, the basic electrolyte is neutral, non-corrosive, and cannot filter into the ground, etc. Lead crystal batteries will not cause pollution; therefore it is in line with ever increasing environmental protection requirements.

h. Safe to transport
Lead crystal batteries are classified as non-hazardous devices and are safe to transport by land, sea and air, while lead-acid batteries may not be transported by air. This is primarily due to the electrolyte composition of the lead crystal battery which is non corrosive.

i. Life Cycle Cost
Due to the factors listed above, it is clear that the life cycle cost of lead crystal batteries is lower than that of lead-acid batteries
