Social media celebrity and one of Nigeria’s most popular cross-dressers, Idris ‘Bobrisky’, Okuneye has taken his fame to a new height by monetising it.

The University of Lagos graduate of accountancy who specialises in selling bleaching creams, organised an event in England over the weekend where he charged £20 (N8,000) for selfies.

The event, tagged ‘Meet, greet and chill with Bobrisky,’ was held at the Northpole Shisha Bar, Greenwich High Road London.

SnapChat videos from the event also revealed fans ‘spraying’ pounds sterling bills on an ecstatic Bobrisky.

The London party comes barely a week after a client went for the cross-dresser on social media, accusing him of taking money from her for a package of bleaching cream without delivering the package.

Bobrisky denied the allegation.

Bobrisky was also recently invited to speak on a social media engagement panel on the unconventional use of social media.

His inclusion on the panel led to a heated debate on social media, as two of the panelists pulled out, citing the inclusion of Bobrisky as reason.
