Sport under this government is zero..... But if it's cow, they will know how to treat them asap.

Maybe they should start boycotting games or get paid before matches... This is so unfair, at least this ladies did the Nation proud by winning.
What did we achieve in terms of sports in previouse government that we haven't in this under 2years.

And this is not the first time such will be happening..A certain babatunde got injured while playing for nigeria at 2014 world cup. He was left without care..same for Esther sunday at 2012 under 2012 women worldcup.

They should have all absconded after the tournament to a country that will value and appreciate them, Nigeria is not worth dying for, nonsense and yet the sport minister and all his cronies are swimming in upfront estacodes , what a shame sad sad

This is what you get when you have a lawyer as your sport minister. After winning the trophy the NFF and Sport ministry is still delaying their bonuses!

Please be informed. The Nff and not the sport ministry is directly responsible for their payment.
The Sport ministry has a lot of sporting bodies under it and each body is answerable to its international Association only.
What Nff do with the prize money the team won in Cameron?

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Welcome back to Nigeria, the most corrupt country on earth. NFA hardly pay its bills because the imb*eciles at the top always loot their money!

Nigerian officials would rather loot the money needed to take care of these girls. If they could do that to the Eagles, then Falcon is nothing to these id*iots!

I pray for Nigeria my country but to serve naija is not by force, imagine after all the sacrifice of this girls and this is how they are being treated what a shame

Everyone seems to forget that government does not pay the players. The NFF is supposed to be the ones to pay players. The NFF should be independent of government.
The NFF we have today is the most corrupt in Nigeria's history. Our U17 were given a paltry 5000 naira after a tournament. That is less than 150,000 naira for all team members. That money is perhaps cheaper than the wrist watch Amaju Pinnick's child wears.
One falconet player had mental issues due to the let down by this same NFF. Mr. Pinnick seems to have cornered all the sponsorship money accrued to the NFF and is toying with national team players.
For winning the AFCON, CAF will also pay Nigeria some money. Is Mr Pinnick planning to siphon this too?
For our last match away at Zambia, NFF begged Nigerian government for 100 million naira bail out. The government obliged after it was ambushed. Now it seems NFF want to use the falcons as an ambush tool again. They know we have a dull sports minister who seems to be uninterested in sports anyway.

And as usual nigerians will just shout and then go about doing there businesss. When have we ever held our rulers accountable? If nff doesn't pay these girls, what can any of you do? Nigerians should start fighting for their own.

Even with the correct information sent by Oshaola Azizat phone with pictures, about the chap being set up for the operations in the theatre, people are still blind and saying derogatory things against NFF and the sports ministry. Na wao.

What type of embarrassment are this people causing this nation.. Learnt Cameroon promised 24m Cfa to each of their team members if they had won the trophy . A wounded player could not even be taking care of in our nation ! Where are we going. God punish the erring leaders .

Ebi in the theatre today is obviously because of that 500,000 bonus received prior to the south africa game to avoid a boycott by the Falcons.

Oshoala and Ebi are best of pals hence they obviously sorted it out themselves but it has nothing to do with that clueless NFF.

Fact is NFF are not taking responsibility and that's what the news is about. Ngozi Okobi's case nko?

Note: The news was already posted here on NL even before it made front-page as a stand-alone topic and long before Ebi went into surgery WITH THEIR (ebi's and Oshoala's) OWN MONEY NOT THE SILLY NFF.
