It also cost cash to process this stuff, so dropping it down to 12k may not even be feasible, there is a reason why people tend to prefer importing in the first place. Besides if 50kg cost 19k maximum, if I'm correct a bag of those Thai rice is 25k, that's a 20% decrease, which is above decent.

Foreign rice is 16k cheaper than local rice.
