Keeping our skins perfect can be really hard, with things like pimples, dark spots, blemishes and acne in our way making it's really difficult to keep track of how to take care of your face and skin. Even the products we try to use are either too expensive or fake. It is really hard to tell the good ones from the bad nowadays. If you have all these problems, there is only one way to solve them and that’s by improvising with the help of Mother Nature.

When it comes to skin care, your kitchen has almost everything you need. Groceries are the best tools for skin care and here is how you make use of them.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) can be used to prevent acne. It also acts as a facial toner. Mix together one tablespoon of ACV and two cups of water, damp with cotton ball and swipe all over clean, dry face to tighten skin and reduce pores as well.
Lemons: Lemon juice helps the body to eradicate old hormones which cause breakouts and worsen oily skin. Start your day with hot water mixed with lemon juice to prevent your skin from breakouts and keep oily skin in check.
Pumpkin Seeds: Pumpkin seeds are loaded with vitamin E, zinc, sulfur and they help to heal, restore and hydrate the skin. They also help heal blemish marks after you have a breakout. Pumpkin seeds are more effective when eaten raw, so it is best to either snack on them or eat them with salads.
Raw Potato: Potatoes are known to help brighten dark spots and ward of wrinkles. It also helps to get rid of acne. Apply potato juice directly on dark spots or blemish as you would apply a face toner. Do the same for wrinkle lines and dark circles.
Tomato Juice: Tomato juice helps prevent skin from sun burns. It also prevents the skin from insect bite bruises. Tomato juice also brightens dull skin. Blend tomato to juice and drink before heading out to prevent bruises and sun burns.
No need to worry about skin problems when you can solve it with a trip to the fridge.
