one Fagbemi Ademola posted this on facebook and it read thus, "Tragedy has again struck as Lydia Omoniyi, a serving batch B 2016 Corp member at NYSC permanent orientation camp in Lagos state, Iyana Ipaja died of heart failure. According to a reliable source, she died on Tuesday, December 7, a week after she was rushed to her parent in Ibadan, Lydia died 3days before her birthday on December 10. Lydia Omoniyi graduated from Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH). May her soul rest in peace" this is really sad  https://web.facebook.com/fagbemi.ademola.5

Honestly, the relevance of this program is what I don't seem to understand. Yes, many die at home, school, church and other places but life in camp is nothing to write home about. Imagine more than 50 boys in one room. I nearly collapsed most times during my time. If not that I resorted to staying outside most times, I wonder what would have happened. All these because I was raised in the village ooooh. Now, imagine how all these daddy and mumy pets will feel. The training is absolutely of no relevance; in fact, NYSC is a scam. |
