ICCR INTERVIEW FEEDBACK.....

I arrived about 30 minutes late, not really my fault. I had lost my wallet on my way to Abuja from Lagos, so I had to dash to the park that morning to see if it was found by any good Nigerian, then I also had to do some printing as well.
At the gate of the high commission, i was cleared to confirm if I was invited for the interview, the gate men had the list of shortlisted candidates. My phones were collected then I was directed to the reception. A down to earth young lady conducted me to a waiting room where I met with other candidates scheduled to be interviewed that day....
Please I'll come back to continue, my ba3 is 5% now.

As I walked into the room, I met a group of young men and a beautiful young woman all sited. The notherners were the majority there, and they kept blasting their hausa. I had to change my position and then moved over to where the lady was sitting. I didn't find it difficult to broach a discussion, since the Hausa's were isolating us with their language I couldn't but wait to get a conversation partner.

From my findings I discovered that PhD candidates were invited for their interview on Monday, MSc on Tuesday and bachelor's aspirants were asked to come on Wednesday.
The interview was very casual, one on one. Questions covered state if origin, opinion on global issues like brexit and trump's victory and their implications on Nigeria's development. It also included a discussion of my reason for choosing my course and the university in India. ......

From my findings, I learnt triple the regular number of applicants submitted this year, hence the need to shortlist a handful for the interview. Final selection will be dependent on acceptance by the Indian universities and ICCR quota.

Kindly note:
[b][/b]there was no need to convert WAEC result to percentage, simply list out your grades per subject.
The same applies to cgpa, or you can divide it and multiply by 100. E.g [(4/5) *100] = 80%. Medical certificate with stamp is very mandatory.

congratulations to the lucky ones. I mean dose invited. Ur efforts have finally paid off. From d award list, 5 phd. 12 msc and 3 uG. U will leave Nigeria few months from nw. Travelling Expenses shall be d sole responsibility of d embassy. While educational expenditures that of iCCR. ARE YOU READY? Once again congratulations.

Regarding the iccr scholarship: someone told me that he called them (helpline)three days ago and he was told that the calling isn't over; it depends on the choice of school and their appropriate time of screening. The calling will end in May. How true is this, please?

names of selected candidates has been sent to indian universities for admission. Feedback will be by march. After which iccr will inform the hc to issue a regular visa and pay the flight ticket of candidate as stipulated in d iccr act.

it is quite unfortnate that many who went tru d rigorous proces of applying for this prestigious scholarship scheme did not scale tru. Hence, the thread have ben deserted/disliked/hated/abondoned. it is well.

to be honest, friend! Interview is over! I mean its over! Indian universities are reviewing d files of already selected candidate for admision/making other necesary preparatioms.
