Five players Who had the most red cards in football history.

1. Gerardo Alberto Bedoya Múnera (born 26 November 1975 in Ebejico, Antioquia) is a retired Colombian footballer. He began as a defender but he also played as a defensive midfielder.
He currently holds the record for most red cards (46) received by any player in the history of the game.

2. Vincent Peter "Vinnie" Jones (born 5 January 1965) is a British actor and former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 1984 to 1999 notably for Wimbledon, Leeds United, Sheffield United and Chelsea.

Born in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, Jones represented and captained the Welsh national football team, having qualified via a Welsh grandparent. As a member of the "Crazy Gang", he won the 1988 FA Cup Final with Wimbledon, a club for which he played well over 200 games during two spells between 1986 and 1998. He also played for Chelsea, Leeds United, Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers. Jones was a defensive midfielder who was especially noted for his very aggressive style of play, earning him a "hard man" image on the field.

3. Roberto Trotta (born 28 January 1969 in Pigüé) is an Argentine football manager and former defender.
Trotta played club football in Argentina, Spain, Italy, Mexico and Ecuador. During his time in the Argentine Primera he set the record for the highest number of red cards ever with 17.
Trotta was a member of several championship winning teams, the highlight of his career was helping Vélez Sársfield to win the 1994 Copa Libertadores.
Trotta has worked as a manager, including a spell as manager of Almagro in 2007.

4. Fernando Gabriel Amorebieta Mardaras (born 29 March 1985) is a professional footballer who plays for Sporting de Gijón as a central defender.
He played most of his professional career with Athletic Bilbao, appearing in 253 official games over the course of eight La Liga seasons and scoring four goals.[2][3]
Internationally, Amorebieta played for Spain as a youth, but later decided to represent Venezuela at the senior level, appearing for the nation at the 2015 Copa América.

Sergio Ramos is currently holds the La Liga's all-time leader for red cards 21red cards received.


Ramos has 21 red cards to his name in the Spanish top flight, a record he achieved after being sent off against Barcelona for a challenge on Luis Suarez in the Clasico held on 2 April 2016 for a second yellow

Ramos passed Xavier Aguado (Real Zaragoza) and Pablo Alfaro (Real Zaragoza, Racing Santander and Sevilla), who he was tied with at 18 reds, after being sent off against Osasuna on December 14th, 2013 to become the La Liga player with the most number of red cards in his kitty.
