VACANCY AT THE OLUSEGUN OBASANJO FOUNDATION

Application is now requested from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Secretary and Accountant at the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

PREAMBLE:

The Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation (OOF) was incorporated in Nigeria, by the former Nigeria president, to tackle the issue of Human security in Africa. The Chairman of the board and Chief Promoter, HE, Olusegun Obasanjo believes that the issues that faces Africans are those that requires urgent intervention. The OOF, therefore, focuses it attention on four key areas of Human security: Health, Agriculture, Education (especially Girl-Child) and Youth empowerment and employment. The foundation looks forward to making great impacts in Africa on these issues and more.

REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL: Applicant must be someone who has a passion to change the lives of others, especially Nigerians and Africans. He/She must have either worked with a standard foundation/NGO before now or have been a volunteer in such. Previous experience in running a Foundation/NGO will be an advantage.

SECRETARY:

(1) Applicant must be a graduate from a well respected tertiary institution.
(2) Applicant must posses relevant qualification and experience for this position.
(3) Applicant must live within Abeokuta or be prepared to relocate to Abeokuta, if employed.
(4) Applicant must be well versed and passionate about this job.
(5) Applicant must be ready to function at any assignment within the foundation, at the shortest notice,if employed.
(6) Applicant MUST have at least 10 years of experience in similar position(s).
(7) Candidate MUST be between age 40 - 55 years at the time of application.

ACCOUNTANT

(1) Applicant must be a graduate from a well respected tertiary institution.
(2) Applicant must have at least an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accountancy.
(3) Applicant must live within Abeokuta or be prepared to relocate if employed.
(4) Applicant must be well versed and passionate about this job.
(5) Applicant must be ready to function at any assignment within the foundation, at the shortest notice, if employed.
(6) Applicant must have at least 3 years experience in similar position(s).
(7) There are no age restriction on this position.
