Augmented and virtual reality has successfully left the realm of concept tech into reality. AR and VR tech has experienced huge boosts in consumer usage, and is no more alien to average consumers. One thing that has been observed as regards to AR and VR is the fact that for you to experience both realities you are obliged to put on a headset or spectacles as in the case of google spectacles and Microsoft holo lenses. One of the attributes of a well developed tech or gadget is its ability to be less bulky and eradicate stress, that's is why google has taken upon themselves to bring augmented reality to mobile phones which has been developed under its project tango, making this experience less bulky and stress free, Intel is another company which has also taking this attribute of a good tech serious with the production of Intel alloy headset. AR being featured In a mobile device some how surpasses Intel plans on the alloy headset , but for a crisp experience Intel's alloy headset might still posses the upper hand.

Speaking of Googles project tango, google has partnered with lenovo's hardware, making lenovo phab 2 pro to become the first user ready mobile device to feature googles tango.

What is project tango?
Project Tango is a new vision technology that gives mobile phone users the ability to add virtual 3D characters to their environment with single click, No headsets or special spectacles needed.
With tango you will be able to access a virtual furniture store given you the ability to have a look at what the furniture will look like in your apartment and still be able to walk round the furniture giving a clear view of the furniture before making a purchase.
You will also be able to play virtual games, walk round game characters. Tango also gives you a virtual 3D map of your apartment ones scanning is carried out via tangos camera.
All these tango functions are carried out via motion-tracking, area learning and dept perception.
This Tango tech sounds a lot like what microsoft embarked upon years ago with the Xbox 360’s Kinect sensor , one of the lead designers behind Tango is Johnny Lee, a core contributor to Kinect.

Not knowing what augmented reality means will make the information on this article sound strange.

Being that we have discussed the project tango, below is a quick review on lenovos phab 2 pro, the first mobile device to posses the tango feature.
As we have seen in the past nexus phones google is known to partner with 3rd party hardware manufacturing companies when it comes to building mobile devices, the lenovo phab 2 pro is not an exception to this case.
Lenovo phab 2 pro is a 6.4 inch device possessing a quad HD screen(2560 x 1440) 2K IPS. This device actually pushes the size game harder when it comes to manufacturing phablets, which are supposed to show mid way characteristics between tablets and normal handsets.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro isn't big just because it wants to be, however all the Tango tech has to live somewhere, a bigger screen is needed in other to give users a comfortable and enjoyable AR experience.
