Voice of Change Network International Launches N2 billion ( USD 7 million) Fund Raising for its Food Bank, Cloth bank, Free Food Kitchen and Free Medical Centre Projects.


Voice of Change Network International aka Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach is set to commence the first phase of its proposed Charity City, with the launching of N2 billion ( USD 7 million) Fund Raising for its Food Bank, Cloth bank, Free Food Kitchen and Free Medical Centre Projects.


According to the leader of the group, Mr. Azemobor Greory. “ Plans are underway to acquire a warehouse property in Ikeja-Lagos, within the first quarter of next year 2017. This temporary facility will accommodate the Food Bank, Cloth Bank, Free Food Kitchen and Free Medical Centre". Let me give you a preview of what the temporary Charity City will offer:


FOOD BANK
The food bank will receive food items donation from kind-hearted individuals and corporate organizations from time to time
The food items received will be distributed FREE to poor families, widows, single parents etc irrespective of their religion, tribe or nationality. The distribution will be done monthly, weekly or Daily within the Charity City premises, depending on the availability of food items
The expected food items donation include Rice, beans, garri, yam, oil and all manufactured food items etc


CLOTH BANK:
The cloth bank will receive cloth donations from kind-hearted individuals, boutiques, cloth dealers and fashion houses. The clothes will be washed, dry cleaned and packaged to be distributed FREE to all those that need clothing- indigent kids, destitute, street children, orphanage home, widows etc
The items needed include: Adult clothes, children clothes, shoes, bags, household appliances etc


FREE FOOD KITCHEN
The Free Food Kitchen will cook to feed the poor on weekly or daily basis depending on the availability of food stuff. Our target is to feed 20,000 hungry people on daily basis. The cooked food will be distributed in a take-away pack or people could choose to eat in the Kitchen located within the premises of the Charity City.


FREE MEDICAL CENTRE
The Free Medical Centre will provide FREE medical services to the poor in the society. The services will include: free check- up, free eye test, free dispensed drugs, free mosquito net distribution , provision of financial support for kids with serious ailment ( heart surgery) etc


HOW TO FINANCE THE PROJECT
This is a charity project that will be financed by generous donations from kind-hearted individuals, corporate organizations and donor agencies. We are going to have
1. Individual Charity City Partners.
2. Corporate Charity City Partners
3. Charity City Volunteers
As a Charity City Partner you make a financial commitment to support the project. Your donations could be made either monthly or annually.The Charity City Partners could also donate food items or clothing materials
The Charity City Volunteers are all those that give their time, talent, skills and professional inputs to support the project. A lot of people will be needed to provide numerous services for the poor in the Charity City.
