The organizers of the socio economic and cultural carnival in Idoma land refined this year's Agila Carnival in a more organised, structured and vast manner as the entire people of Idoma Nation crave to witness, partake, involve and observe the cultural activities been displayed.

The Agila Carnival which started four years ago has tremendously achieved a remarkable success in Benue state as it has become the only consistent, active and most outstanding cultural carnival in Benue State particularly the Idoma Nation. It's perseverance has made it stand strong and firm amongst its's counterparts in the North Central Region.

In a quest to promote, expand, build a lasting peace and unify the Idoma Cultural heritage Worldwide. The president of the Socio economic and cultural carnival Prince Edwin Ochai pledge commitment to continually outlive the beautiful cultures existing in our land. The young man with his creative mind, ideas and desires have decided to encourage the living youths of Benue and Idoma's particularly by introducing alot of activities that features this year's carnival such as the Benue Got Talent, The market women raffle draw, the novelty match, the okada riders, the Ogbureke Wrestling and many others to encourage hard work.

The Carnival Procession which took over the streets of Otukpo yesterday 23rd December, 2016 is indeed a great indication that the people are excited and further seek for unity amongst the three ethnic groups in Benue state. Prince Edwin declared an open invitation to everyone from all works of life to be part of this memorable cultural display in Idoma land. Terry G, J Martins, Geoffrey of MTN project, Cozy, Meddy, Magnito and others will be gracing the mammoth crowd today and tomorrow 25th December, 2016.
