How to Get Employed Immediately You Graduate From the University Even In a Dwindling Economy.
Do you want to get employed immediately you graduate from the university?
Then you have to bookmark this article and come back to it over and over again. This is because today, I will be sharing with you tips that can get you employed even in a dwindling economy.
According to the statistics, the Nigeria unemployment rate rose to almost 14% in 2016. Going through history, you will find out that the unemployment rate has never reduced. Infact in 2013, it was a mere 10.5% and has continued to increase.
Yet as someone who works in the recruitment industry for years now, people get employed every single day. Sometimes in a month, we place over a 100 job seeker with companies from different industries.
So what seems to be the problem?
So the problem really is not that there is no job but from our experience, the problem is that there is a disconnect between the job seekers and the employers.
For those already, in the labour market, you may be able to learn a thing or two but my concern today is for those who are just about to graduate.
How do you begin to properly position yourself in such a way that once you graduate, you will get a job immediately?
Tip 1: Choose a career
One of the problems I see young graduate making is that they think of life in terms of getting a job and not a career. Unfortunately most people who are successful focus on building their career and not getting a job.
