The first thing I do the moment a man walks up to me, is to check out his finger nails. There is nothing that impresses me like seeing a good looking man with short, clean nails.

A big turn-off for me is, seeing a man with nails like eagle claws. Men think it’s hip to grow their nails, probably because women grow nails too.

Whenever I get the chance to ask them, the reason for grooming their nails, they tell me; that they are using it. Using it for what?

I see a good looking young man, and when I look at his nails, he would look nothing less like a wild eagle ready to scratch your face with it!

For one bizarre reason or the other, some men leave their nails to be so long, like it’s the magic they need to attract the opposite sex.

The reality is that an average woman do not like men who groom their finger nails to be so long. It’s disgusting and irritating.

Being a gentleman transcends grooming your nails to be so long, it makes you look like a wizard. A good looking gentleman should know how to maintain a personal hygiene.

I ran into an old friend at a youth conference a couple of years ago, and immediately I looked at his nails (it’s an obsession for me) my facial expression changed.

He was so happy to see me because we lost contact after he traveled to the states for his Masters. He was talking and gesturing with his hands, I couldn’t be more disgusted!

His finger nails was all I concentrated on while he talked. His index finger was so long, he wouldn’t need make-up to act a horror film.

Short and clean finger nails is sexy, that is one thing men don’t know. I cannot date a man with long scary nails. If your nails are long, then you are dirty to me.

If you cannot maintain a simple personal hygiene, every other area would be suffering as a result. A man who grooms his nails to be very long, cares little about himself, so won’t care about you!

Cut your nails and hair short, trim your beards and tashe properly, that way you can come across as a gentleman! no woman would be happy dating a man who keeps long finger nails.

These are some of the things men do, and funny enough they don’t know the effects of it on their relationship. You might be going after a particular babe, and she refuses even to talk to you.

You have done everything, you look good, you have six or eight packs and she still won’t come near you, check yourself you might have personal hygiene issues!

She might not want to tell you all this, how can she date you when you have claws you will use to finger her cookies? Inflicting injury on the poor girl.

My imagination about finger-nail-grooming men is that, they groom pubic hair, nostril hair and anything ‘groomable’ yuck!

Before you go out there to talk to any lady, do a personal check, but forget it if you grow finger nails because you want to ‘use’ it.

Long nails don’t make you more good looking, instead it makes you look really unkempt and wild and scary, so pleassseeee!

I just want to say that it takes carefulness to nurture the nails that long and an unkempt person would find it difficult so saying it's dirty is wrong. Pls forget that thing they taught us in pry school.

I quite agree with the poster. Are you a witch, wizard or some vampire, to be grooming long fingernails. I always maintain a short well-trimmed finger and toe nails. It makes my hands look clean. Moreover i love "fingering" and so i would not want to injure her vagina.
