The honor 6x features a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display powered by Mali T830MP2 graphics processing unit. Its built with a metal body but not all metal, on the back device you will find a metal plate which is accompanied by a plastic frame on the top and bottom. Huawei claims that this plastic frame will aid its antenna reception, this plastic covering takes the place of the antenna bands you find on the back of most all metal smartphones.
On the left side of this device you will find its volume keys as well as its power button and on the right you will find its hybrid sim tray port. Its sim card tray is a hybrid sim card tray which allows you to feature either a nano sim card and an SD card or a nano sim and a micro sim. On the top of this device you will find a 3.5MM head phone jack and on the bottom you will find its Micro USB charging port with fast charging along side two speaker grills on the left and right . Only one of the speaker grills possess a speaker, one of them is micro phone and the other is an actual speaker.


On the back of this device you will find its dual rear cameras, its finger print scanner which sits just below the camera and its flash besides its top rear camera. This arrangements looks very similar to the one found on the Huawei mate 9 and also on the Huawei mate 9 lite . The dual rear camera setup features a primary 12MP camera and a secondary 2MP camera. Huawei clamis the honor 6X is the cheapest device to feature dual cameras. Its finger print scanner doesn't just serve as security but it can also be used to take photos, view the notification panel by swiping down, answer phone calls, browse through photos by swiping left and right.
This device also features a 8MP front facing camera.
