Help, Diagnosed With Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. by Nobody: 7:02pm On Jan 05, 2017
Hello all,
We went for an abdominal scan today and was diagnosed with mild Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and that has been why our trials 9months after an ectopic pregnancy has been futile.

What causes PID?
How can it be cured
How long does treating it take?
Does it reoccur?

Are any hormonal tests important after an ectopic pregnancy surgery?

Thanks.

The most common cause is an untreated STI in some instances excessive vaginal douching. Since you are aware of what you have treatment is a course of antibiotics then retesting. Both of you need to be clear of any infection. It's not an accusation of unsavoury behaviour on your part but chlamydia and gonorrhoea are the main causes.

Hello,

Most cases of PID are caused by a sexually transmitted infection, such as Chlamydia or gonorrhea. In some cases, bacteria that are normally found in the vagina contribute to the infection of PID; these bacteria are often anaerobes (bacteria that only grow in the absence of oxygen). Sometimes the specific cause or type of bacteria cannot be found.

PID may also occur after the pelvic organs have been manipulated in some way. This includes procedures such as:

abortion
dilatation and curettage, or D and C
insertion of an intrauterine device, or IUD
Childbirth puts a woman at risk for developing PID. However, PID in pregnancy is very rare and if it occurs probably preceded the pregnancy.

Tubo-ovarian abscesses (TOA) are one of the late complications of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and can be life-threatening if the abscess ruptures. This will no be our portion, thank GOD it's still mild PID.

As per treatment:

Do a bit of research online and i suggest/advice you to get tested again as well or let our doctor really interpret your old test, just to be sure. Treatment of mild cases of PID includes antibiotics, pain medicine, bed rest, and avoiding sexual activity. If a woman has an IUD (Intrauterine device), it will be removed. With severe symptoms, the woman may need to be hospitalized. Higher doses of antibiotics and pain medicines can be given intravenously.

The woman may need surgery to drain pus through the vagina. Laparoscopy is occasionally done to evaluate the pelvic organs, and obtain material for culture, take down adhesion's or remove involved organs.
Other procedures can include removing the injured ovaries, Fallopian tubes, or any scar tissue. If the bowel is blocked, surgery can release the obstruction. A hysterectomy, or removal of the uterus, is sometimes recommended.

However, for a combination of forever living supplementation products that really work to treat PID.

If you have used this medication for an ectopic pregnancy, you may seriously want to consider doing a Fertility Cleanse. The Fertility Cleanse may help clear the body of the medication prior to trying to conceive again.

PLEASE CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR WHO WILL RECOMMEND NECESSARY TESTS.

It is very important that you get all necessary tests & know your diagnosis for us to appropriately and adequately recommend forever living supplements & products to you.

Are you under 35 or above 35 years of age?
, a lot of questions you need to provide answers to. Ma GOD grant you great health.

Some of the products are attached, all from nature with no side effects. Please take this serious. I can be of great help to you ma.

Thanks for the advice.

We've met a gynaecologist and carried out tests and an HSG.

It is not a PID or any type of infection.

The gynecologist explained that most sonographers confuse the fluid mass from ovulation as PID.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
