After his achievement in FIFA U-17 World Cup, Sani Emmanuel, who was also the winnoer of the Silver Shoe was questioned where he was. Willl he rest at a beautiful resort outside or going back home? Today, we found him attending the church service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria today together with the teammate, Ogenyi Onazi for a special thanksgiving service.

Emmanuel, who scored a remarkable 5 golas in only 2221 munutes of play, was an altar boy in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations before his inclusion in the Golden Eaglet’s squad, and was literally raised in the church by Prophet TB Joshua. He attributes his remarkable achievements to the grace of God andhas promised to dedicate his career to the Almighty, as well as to set up various NGOs for the less privileged in society. He also mentioned in his speech that he dedicated his Golden Ball and Silver Shoe to the needy. Both Emmanuel and Onzi are members of My People FC, the football club established by Prophet TB Joshua to help and discover talented young footballers.
