Brilliant farewell letter to the Chelsea family
Having failed to play a single minute this season under Antonio Conte, it is not a huge surprise at all that Mikel John Obi has left Chelsea at this time.
It is quite rare for a Premier League player to announce their own transfer but that is what Mikel John Obi has done this morning.
Mikel posted a lengthy farewell letter to the “Chelsea family” where he goes into depth about his career at the club.
Reading the letter below, you have to feel that Mikel John Obi is Chelsea through and through.
Mikel John Obi played the full 120 minutes of Chelsea’s Champions League triumph in 2012 and will remain a club legend.

Nigerians that can't even control a pass from a toddler would criticise a man who has won several premier league titles, champions league trophy, FA cups, League cups, African Nations cup, Olympic bronze medal (The only medal at the 2016 Olympics mostly self funded).

Mike started out as an U-21 starlet second to only Lionel Messi with the likes of Zabaleta in the same competition.
He's sustained a career for this length of time staying loyal to his club.

As a Nigerian I am often ashamed of our citizens.

Many have never controlled 14,000 Naira in a month yet they attempt to rubbish a man who has made a career of kicking the brown leather ball such that he makes weekly £140,000 at the twilight of his career.

They hail a drug dealer who's hung in far east Asia but ridicule a celebrity who goes to change the the perception of Nigerians within the same space.

As an arsenal fan I can only say Shame On You Lot.
