GTBank Daylight robbery from GTBank.sms cost 4naira to any network. How can GTBank charge 368 naira for sms? Is gtbank saying i received 92 sms in a month?Becuase you have acces to my money does not give you the right to steal from me. How much are they charging me per sms? using bulk sms is even lower than 4naira. I see this as a direct exploitation of the masses. EFCC needs to step into this and other regulatory bodies to investigate this act fraud. I am also aware its common with other banks. Front page please. 1 Like

I received an alart of 186 for sms charges this morning, I was like na wa for this people....... Funny thing is it bleeps up ur balance. I usually recharge my phone using GTB, it makes me want to recharge everytime cos of the convinience, now I notice I receive a surcharge of N4 |

All of you are funny sha. You withdraw funds from the ATM, SMS alert comes in. You recharge your phone with "737", SMS alert comes in. You make a transfer, SMS alert comes in. Who pays for those alerts?? because the bank cannot bear those charges. If you don't like it, go and subscribe for E-mail alert only Simple!! 6 Likes |

davide470: It is because of people like you who don't know any better why the public will continue to be exploited. I have banked with 4 foreign banks in 3 different countries and there were no charges as sms charges, only in Nigeria with their shitty services they offer. Until recently people were charged N100, then N65 for withdrawing from a different bank ATM. Were else in the world that happens? That's how u guys will continue to get exploited because u think its acceptable and justifiable.... 1 Like |

Deactivate sms alert and make use of email notification or their mobile banking app. @op u don't have a case(na u dey rob urself) cos were charged for the service rendered |

I once had similar issues with UBA and i contacted and pestered them via their twitter page until N420 was returned to me. |

Goodness me! Thought I was the only one  Well, I have given up and have vowed never to go queue in the bank just because of this. Interestingly, I only use the ATM but the charges that come after no be here. Imagine being charged 900+ for just SMS in a month. This is a corporate scam. |

Login to your Internet banking page and deactivate sms notification. I use only email notification, it's instantaneous and very detailed than sms. |
