OIL SPILL CLEANUP RESPONSE
Tier 1,2 & 3 Spills litter the Niger Delta. The planned Ogoni Remediation Project represents a first step in the series of efforts that must eventually be taken to restore polluted sites in a region that has been compromised by massive oil spills. This course will teach the traditional Cleanup techniques that uses Booms, Sorbents, Skimmers, Connecting Hoses, Pumps, Fastanks, Dispersant, Vessels, Evaluation & Calculation of Spill, Open Burning at Sea etc in Course 1.

REMEDIATION
It also teaches Remedial Investigation/Feasibility, Bioremediation (Soil Heap, Solid Phase, Pump & Treat, Slurry phase, in-situ, bioaugmentation, biofilters, biostimulation, bioreactors, bioventing, composting, land farming, as well as bioengineering of polluted soils and water. Soil Washing, Air Stripping, Oil Separation, Carbon Adsorption, Soil Vapor Extraction, Incineration, Thermal Desorption, Stream Stripping, Groundwater Pumping & Treatment, Detergent Extraction etc. in Course 2.
