“Some people believe that RCCG is becoming too influential and we’re going to be more influential. When you get home, tell members to join a political party.

“Join a party and become a card-carrying member of any party. Just join any party. We shall decide issues right from the ward level.

“If you are not active at ward level, you’ll do what they plan and say at the top. Enrol in any party of your choice and have a card.

“When holding meetings at ward level to choose delegates, be there.”

“One Muslim in Ibadan said years ago that he didn’t know what’s wrong with Christians; that we help them to occupy political positions and refused to capitalise on our population. That’s going to change from now,” Adeboye stated.

The above words are that of Pastor Adeboye.

Comrades, Christians, brothers and Sisters, let the truth be told, we the christians are the major cause of our predicament, we tend to leave the burden of governance to the "children of an adult.erous woman" because we tend to see politics as a dirty, very expensive and dangerous venture but forgetting the saying in Yoruba language that means "when they ask you to join hands to carry and you refuse to join, don't be surprised you will find what is about to be disposed off in your domain". That is the situation we have found ourselves, we are now shouting that "God should behold their threatening" . Hmmm! for the records, Turkey was predominantly a Christian country, but they fail to make use of their numerical strength in politics. I decree by the God of Heaven, that will not be our lot in Jesus' name!

We have many great churches with massive population but it has proven to be of no effect when it comes to electioneering in this country. Our GOs are much fixated in the population of their church and in a way to subdue their members to put in 105% of their time in church activities, they tend to be silent in the affairs of the land. This is the result,it is open for all to see, imagine in the last election, Christians came out en-massed to vote for GEJ, we would not have been facing this type of persecution in the land. I never said, GEJ is better, but at least we can breathe. We have non-chalantly allow charl.atans, non.entiti.es, im.beci.les and certain group of people to see leadership in Nigeria as their birthright.

According to what the great man of God has said, it is uncontestable clear that we the christians have the ace to turn things around in this country.

Apart from joining existing Political parties, not for the sake of voting for that party but to be ready to vote for a Christian that has been vetted by group of churches. This is the game, we need to play along and be wise, smart, thinking very fast and being futuristic in our dispositions, organizing Think-Tanks to tunnel our way into the socio-political affairs of this country.

Have we forgotten so easily that politics started in church?

Please, pass this message across as much as possible to thousands of persons per head, in your conversation with friends and colleagues, the christians slogan should change now to "Follow Christ, but join Politics".
God deliver us all.
