HarvestPlus Nigeria Presents Monthly Business Forum

HarvestPlus Nigeria kicks off the year with the maiden edition of its Monthly Business Forum, which holds on January 27.
The forum is packaged to equip existing and prospective investors with up-to-date, incisive information and data on how to meet the increasing demand for vitamin A cassava and maize products. It is estimated that over 500,000 metric tons of these products would be consumed across Nigeria in 2017.

HarvestPlus intends to galvanize investors, especially youths and women, to exploit opportunities across the value chain of these products, helping them to create wealth and improve their livelihood.

The sessions would afford stakeholders opportunities to brainstorm on strategies for tackling emerging challenges, identifying and exploiting new markets and developing a business plan for the year.

The forum holds at the Country Office, at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, IITA, Moniya, Ibadan, Oyo state, and would feature updates and discussions on the production and marketing of vitamin A cassava and maize products. The discussion sessions would begin at 10am prompt.

The forum is open to all.


HarvestPlus improves nutrition and public health in Nigeria by promoting vitamin A cassava and maize. The organisation works with more than 20 partners drawn from government, business, and civil society.
