Gionee M2017 has a dimension of 155.2 x 77.6 x 7.4 mm and 10.8 cc. The phone has a total weight of 238g and it also comes with dual SIM, which are Nano SIM and dual sand-by. The phone comes in 2 different colors, which are Gold and Black.

Display
Gionee M2017 comes with an AMOLED capacitive touch screen and has 16 million colors, making the pictures and images special. It has a total size of 5.7 inches and a screen to body ratio of 74.4%. Its screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels and it has a pixel density of approximately 515ppi. The screen features multitouch capacity and Amigo OS 3.5.

Gionee M2017 operates on android Operating System v6.0.1 Marshmallow. It s chipset is Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 653. And its Central Processing Unit is an Octa-core 4x 1.95 GHz Cortex A72 & 4 x 1.4 GHz Cortex A53. It also features an Adreno 510 GPU.

Memory
The phone comes with a RAM of 6 GB and also has internal memory of 128 GB. However, it does not come with a card slot for microSD. Therefore, it has no external memory.

Camera
The primary memory is a Dual 12 MP plus 1.3MP. The cameras have various features, like phase detection autofocus and they are also fitted with LED flash. Other features in the primary camera are HDR and panorama features. Also, the camera has face detection feature and touch focus feature. Its geo-tagging feature also sets it apart the video capacity of the camera is 2160@30fps. Its secondary camera is an 8MP affair.

Sound
Gionee M2017 features a host of alert types, like WAV ringtones, MP3 and Vibration alert types. It is fitted with loudspeaker but has no 3.5mm jack. It however features active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.

Gionee M2017 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and also Wi-Fi direct connection. Also, it features hotspot connectivity. Its Bluetooth is a v4.0 A2DP affair. It equally features A-GPS and FM radio. Battery
The phone has a non removable Li-Po battery with 7,000 mAh battery capacity. Stand by time for the battery is 915 hours, while the talk time is 25 hours.

I'd rather spend it on quality laptop and use the change for Samsung Galaxy s7

The price won't take long to depreciate. I will surely buy this phone because of my trust on Gionee battery's strength not before it sells below 100k.
