In Jega council area, Kebbi state, the residence of Kimba village have been left in tears as kidnapped, defiled a 17-year-old village girl, who was identified as Zara’u Buhari until she gave up the ghost.

The Leadership reports that, Zara’u was said to be on her way to her sister’s house to keep her company that fateful day because her sister’s husband had traveled and left the wife alone at home.

It was gathered that, Zara’u left home around 8pm for her sister’s house to spend a night with her when the gang of criminals led by one Aliyu Sarkin Mata accosted her on the road. The criminals, who were about 4 and heavily armed with some local weapons, kidnapped the girl, slept with her severally and finally strangled her to death.

However, the lifeless body of late Zara’u was dumped in the bush by the criminals after embarking on the immoral act, obviously in a bid to cover up for the evil deed.
