The pictures below show the adverse effect of public urination on our streets and roads. This is the foot of a new bridge yet to be completed, along Bata road, Kano State, Nigeria.

Apart from this dirty, irritating scene displayed above, the area smells a lot due to this bad act and can lead to transmission of diseases, as the road is close to the popular Sabon -gari market.

Public urination can be stopped on our street if Government places a strict punishment on anyone caught in the act. Also, sign post should be mounted on some parts of the streets, with the inscriptions, prohibiting public urination.

Please let's endeavour to share this post until it gets to the right authority so that our streets can be free from the bad odour and diseases which might be caused by this ugly act.
