As far as F.C. Barcelona’s President Josep Maria Bartomeu is concerned, the issue of the extension of Lionel Messi’s contract is not a matter to worry about as he is confident that the club’s superstar will surely put pen to paper at the right moment.

Lionel Messi’s present contract will be expiring at the end of next season and the mercurial striker does not seem to be in a hurry to renew it thereby fueling rumours that he might just be thinking of moving on to somewhere else.

On Friday F.C. Barcelona sent director Pere Gratacos parking from the club after he stated the Argentine would not be as good without team-mates like Neymar, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta – an opinion deemed not to “coincide with those of the club”.
