Twin bomb blast rocked the gate 1 and 5 of the University of Maiduguri campus early this morning, Monday January 16th 2017. The deadly incident, according to Alutanews reporter, occurred at about 3.30am, inside the north eastern varsity’s mosque, as Muslim faithfuls gathered for morning prayers. According to a lecturer of the school, who pleaded anonymity, “I thank God, I just narrowly escaped death. this happened as I just left the mosque”.
