Just like Jesus bore our sufferings, one Rev Father Dr. Obayi Paul Martins (Okunerere) decided to ‘bear the sins’ of Nigeria.

Martins was said to have fasted for three days without water or food.
He also underwent torture for up to seven kilometers under the sun to liberate the people of God from the devil in this 2017.
A Facebook user, Engnr Agbo Vitex, shared the photos and video below with the caption: “Believe it or not,he did it for our living souls to prosper. Rev.Father Dr. Obayi Paul Martins (Okunerere) after 3 days fasting without water or food suffered on his bare foot and torture for up to 7 kilometers under the sun to liberate the people of God from the devil in this 2017.”
Nigerians are attacking the priest for his act, saying Jesus Christ has already paid the price and there is no need for him to undergo such suffering. Others are saying it just a publicity stunt.

However, some Nigerians said he just acting the passion of Christ, which is a normal practice by Catholics all over the world on Good Fridays every year.

Believe it or not, things are happening and some of those things just leave you speechless.

Every bearer of load will bear his own burden.
If he wants to do this encourage him as long as it has no negative impact on anybody else.

Praying and fasting are for God but if it is done for show, then ...........

Quite unwholesome of him to have gone through that. He's indirectly saying that Jesus is not perfect. He has just punished himself for nothing.

this one na publicity stunt jaree, who ask am to take beating? All na show, if not he should have contacted me for his torture and he wont live to tell the tale because haaa i go do pass the romans ooo!!!
