Yesterday 16:1:16 at about 11 am on Nnamdi Azikwe Road, close to Mundo/Kawo Roundabout, a group of the Kaduna State Traffic Controllers arrested a Pure Water Van. Within 10 minutes, the Pure Water Vehicle was taken to their office, located opposite AIR FORCE BASE, Mundo Road.Mundo. There, they wrote a statement charging the Driver of 1, Expired Papers N10000; 2, No driving licence N5000; and 3, Refusal to stop N5000. Total N20000. But they were begged to accept N15000, which they did. My Point in this is, The Particulars they arrested the Driver for don't cost N15000. 2, The Officers claiming such an amount should be equipped with facilities to issue those Particulars on the spot. 3, They should at least issue receipts for all money taken from every citizen at this Recession Time. How do we know that such Funds will be received by Government? This is Government exploiting her citizens @ Recession and shows absolute lack of ideas. What we drove the VIOs off the street for, these new set of Traffic Controllers are returning to same practice.
