FC IfeanyiUbah will forfeit three points and three goals to Kano Pillars as a result of their refusal to continue their opening Nigeria Professional Football League fixture.

Pillars were leading the Anambra Warriors 1-0 through Gambo Mohammed strike, but the visitors left the encounter half way after they expressed discontent with referee Folorunsho Ajayi’s calls.

Refusal to continue the game, which eventually led to the awkward conclusion of the game, meant the Nnewi side breeched the NPFL Rule B13.26 and were handed due punishment; forfeiture of three points and three goals ‘which shall be credited to its opponents Kano Pillars’

But what sanctions does NFF mete out on referees whose actions clearly show that they have been bribed? Most times they are quick to sanction teams for reacting while the referees continue to collect bribe to kill off a game.
In this particular match, Kano pillars scored an offside goal, the linesman indicated that it was offside but the referee over ruled him and the goal stood. Now the referee awards a free kick to Ifeanyi Ubah FC, they take it and scores and the same referee who awarded the free kick decides that it's no longer a Freekick but half time and blows for half time, thereby cancelling the goal.

Where there are such brazen show of shame and corruption, the NFF should come down hard on such referees and possibly sanction the team he or she's 'working for"

Am speechless, 9m
I understand referee should be protected but they should face same song too. No team has right to walk out of a match, no matter how bad officiating, but what happens after the match? LMC up ur game now before u take 2 step backward
