A private security firm headed by Israelis rendering services to Commercial, Private and Governmental Organizations needs the service of an Operations Manager.

Operation Manger is needed to handle about 80 employees in the department under his surveillance, all the operational activities related to the Control Room, Escort.
To Manage and provide effective leadership to the team and ensure that:
• Resources are appropriately and efficiently allocated to key areas work and that the priorities are always covered adequately.
• All training needs are identified and process promptly and are undertaken at the appropriate time.
• All requests for annual and flexi leave are managed and controlled, ensuring that there is adequate cover to maintain the services at all times.
• Performance and attendance issues are addressed at the correct time.
• To maintain the Operations up to date for use by all the personnel, individual instructions for each, attendance, training etc.
• To assist GM in implementing security as core business function to adopt whole office, keeping physical security measures under constant review.
• Act as a focal point for any investigations, to prepare reports and note follow up action.
• Report any significant Security Breaches to the GM and recommend course of action in consultation with GM.
• Participate in the role during incident and emergencies.
• Ensure that all the business recovery/contingency plans and/or procedures held within the control room are always kept update.
• Be on call on a 24x7 basis for any emergencies.
• Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all staff in the operations and on routine duties. Ensure that the knowledge is tested several times per year.
• Enthusiastic and committed approach with track record of building strong, trusted base relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• A sound working environment, strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills.
• Sound judgment and decision making skills, with a ‘hands on’ problems solving approach, able to remain clam under pressure take control of incidents.
• Experience of preparing reports and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfall in staffing levels.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Assist the guards department in supervision of guards beats through patrol and attending to clients related issues.

Qualification: Preferably a OND/Graduate of any Nigerian Tertiary Institution, Having a background or retired in any of the forces (Police, Airforce, Nigerian Army, Navy, Civil Defence, Man O War etc) is also an added advantage. Should have strong working knowledge of Security and People Management. Candidate must be computer literate.

Experience: At least Five years experience in a similar or related role
