My sis was posted there and she is a lil skeptical abt the state but i assured her she would meet people heading there on NL so am going to share this thread to her (she is not a NLder) so drop ur digits so could call any of you (females preferably) to help her fit in.

Niger state going from ondo state, my plan is to leave from Ado-Ekiti very early on Tuesday, should be around 7 hours drive from there if its a straight route

If you guys can mobilise urselves to fill up a bus, then fine. Otherwise, you'd have to get to ilorin first.
I've had reason to travel back to Minna from akure and ado, had to go to ilorin first, then connect Minna from ilorin.

how about going throug abuja and catching a bus to minna like some had said earlier? which of the two(Ilorin n Abuja) is faster and cheaper

Jebba-mokwa road is the determinant. The road is hell, and on a bad day when those tankers decide to fall, you could spend the whole day on the road.
Perhaps Abuja is faster going from akure, you would actually get to paiko before Minna, which would be easier.
