Could be low freon or weak compressor. Need to take it for diagnosis somewhere.

Bros mine started having issues last week, tot its the gas and when I got to where they buy the can AC gas the guy feeling it no even check he just say e be like compressor get issue. It blows hot or normal air doesn't get cold.... What are the possible problem I should prepare for

Good morning, pls help me with this issue.
Firstly, when the AC failed, the repair guy suggested that we convert it to a manual set up. After much argument I agreed.
We changed the compressor, condenser, expansion valve, pippings and evaporator but worked but failed after a week because the replay was exposed to heat which made it to fail resulting in a bunt compressor.
He suggested we fix the compressor but I refused and insisted that we revert the system to it's initial design.
We bought a new chinko compressor for 120k, flush the system and filled up with gas again. It worked but only for half a day. Kept having gas leakage here and there until when all leakages were fixed.
It's been over 3 months now and we have NEVER ENJOYED it for a single full day. It works only when it feels like and stop working after 10-15min and starts to blow hot air
Sometimes it can go for 3 days without working and even when it does, it never cheals very well like a freezer
I tried other ac techs but all I keep getting is to convert back to manual system which I refused.

I hope they haven't interchange the plugs of the servo motors, because normally your AC should get cool better when the recirculation switch is on.
You need a good AC technician to help you check, possible the servo motor is working in the reverse direction.

You need a good high tech to scan the AC system,your car is likely having electrical issue which you need to fix first before anything.

Those you ac technician has manifold guage,if he those tell me to help you check the pressure reading when is sunny.
What's is the level of your temperature guage.

Hello Sir.

There is nothing wrong with your compressor (Hope you haven't changed it).

The problem is the refrigerant in your a/c system. It is low in purity. Your a/c will cool efficiently in the heat of the sun when you drain, vacuum and recharge the system with pure r134a.

There are too many quack AC technicians all around town across Nigeria. My 2011 Toyota Corolla was working perfectly well until I had a bursted high pressure discharge hose, probably expired.

I began to experience one problem after the other with my car AC system after I took my car to one AC technician in port Harcourt.

Since I had to recharge my AC system after replacing a bursted high pressure discharge hose. I asked the AC technician to vacuum my AC system before recharging but he said there was no need. So the AC technician never vacuum my AC system before filling the system with new refrigerant and oil

The following day after this AC refilling, my AC that usually kicks in immediately to blow cold air began to delay for like 30-45 secs before blowing cold air.

As time goes on, this graduate to AC not blowing cold air until I put off and on the AC switch button.

Furthermore, as time goes on, the AC no more respond to putting off and on the AC switch button. So now until I rev up the engine by pressing the acceleration pedal in neutral or park, the AC never blows cold in idle.

I guess this technician had probably put too much oil or any other oil different from the existing oil in my AC system, causing the compressor to perform poorly. How do I know if there's an excess oil in my compressor?

Also, no doubt about having air moisture in my AC system as the poor technician never pulled a vacuum on my AC system before a recharge.

Please guys where can I find a good AC technician with a vacuum pump in port Harcourt as most of all these road side AC technicians are only there to suck out our hard earned pepper...?
