All offences are punishable but not all are bailable. For instance murder, when some one commits murder, its assumed that he's a risk to the society hence being denied bail. If some one commits petty theft, its considered a petty crime and can get bail. |

THERE ARE OFFENSES TO WHICH THE GRAVITY OF THE OFFENCE WHEN COMMITTED ARE NOT BAILABLE AS A RESULT OF THE SPECIFIED LIKELY PUNISHMENT.AN WHEN GIVEN BAIL WILL LEAD TO ESCAPE. CASES LIKE MURDER . AN AGAIN THERE ALSO MILD CASES THAT EVEN IF BAILED OUT, THE ACCUSED WLL SHOW UP THE NEXT ADJOURNMENT DATE BCOZ THE GRAVITY OF THE PUNISHMENT TO SUCH OFFENCE IS BEARABLE . NOTE, NO OFFENCE SPECIFY UNDER THE ACT THAT HAS NO PUNISHMENT. AN ALSO, NO PUNISHMENT WITHOUT OFFENCE UNDER THE ACT |

if you are rich and you can afford to pay the bail money, you may be bailed. but if you are suspicious of felony , you are not allowed to be bailed. and if you commit another crime or there are new evidences against you being found out during your bail period, you will be apprehanded again. |
