WAYS TO PREVENT HEART ATTACK

Have you had a pizza, samosas, pastry or ice cream recently?

I’m quite certain your answer would be Yes.

These things, though, so yummy and delicious aren’t exactly good for your health.

Now, what’s your answer to these questions:

Did you go for a jog recently?

Did you go trekking or cycling recently?

Have you been having a peaceful 8 hours of sleep?

If your answer is No to many of these questions, you are on your way to have an unhealthy heart.

Also, if you are diabetic or either of your parents suffer from high blood pressure or have heart problem, you are more prone to having heart ailment.

Did you know that 17 million people die every year due to cardiovascular diseases?
One person dies every two seconds due to cardiovascular diseases. So, by the time you are done reading this post, about a hundred people would have died due to cardiovascular diseases.
That’s scary isn’t it? Well, it’s alarming but not all that scary. There is a language that your heart and body speak with you and if you learn to understand it you can prevent most of the major heart ailment.

SIGNS OF HEART AILMENT

• Having difficulties breathing, when climbing stairs or walking a few steps.

• Feeling pain in the left side of your chest or the left shoulder or arm.

• Having a choking sensation in your throat on exertion.

• When your heart beats fast even at rest.

• Feeling dizzy on exertion.

If you feel any of these mentioned above, then your heart is telling you it’s getting tired, that you need to do something about it.

The human heart beats for about 3 billion times in a lifetime. While most of your body parts get rest when you go to sleep, the heart is one of those crucial organs which does not get any rest throughout a lifetime, which is why you need to take care of it.

STEPS TO PREVENT HEART ATTACK AND HAVE A HEALTHY HEART
• Engage in 30-40 mins of Aerobic exercise at least five times in a week. It can be swimming, jogging, skipping, cycling, dancing and any other aerobic activity you can perform.

• Keep your weight in check. Obesity is one the major cause of heart ailment, so cut down on junk food.

• Eat a lot of fresh fruit, fresh salad regularly or daily.

• Include more garlic in your daily cooking, or get a good garlic supplement to use daily.

• Cut down on table salt and any salty food or snacks.

• Minimize the use of alcohol.

• Quit smoking in any form.

• Use olive oil for cooking. Restrict your usage of oil to one liter per person in a month.

• Intake of green tea, certain herbs and fishes check the bad cholesterol in our blood.

• Get enough rest like 7-8 hours of sleep at night.

• Try to reduce stress by performing breathing exercise or singing, playing instrument or drawing

• Finally, visit your doctor regularly to check your blood pressure, sugar level and lipid level.

Awesome! But at times, pain sensation on your left arm may not mean your heart is tired, especially when your BP is within a normal range rather, it could mean that your nerves need some nutrients, such as vitamin B'complex. If you could take the recommended dose, your nerve pain in the left arm will fizzle.
