Though, I've got a feeling that content writing may lose its place to video marketing.

Please oh computer gurus

Where's the best place to learn programming, networking and website designing in lagos?

I mean the best place to pay and attend classes to learn no matter the cost?

Please don't say NIIT

You said no matter the cost. So if you have the money, get internet subscription,

go to www.thenewboston.com and learn whatever you want. It is free video lessons, you just watch and follow the guy.

YOu could also use w3schools.com it is also free to.

You learn at your own pace and save yourself transport and paying some computer centre.

You can learn whatever you want today by yourself using the Internet.

So get busy.

Information communication technology is taking over, making our lives and jobs easier. As new innovations are springing up, job experts in that fields are created to fit into the portfolios. There are some job portfolio you hear, 10 years back whoever would tell you such portfolios would come to place, no one would have believed. But we are seeing it and we have to accept it because they are relevant.

Here are Three (3) hot and new job portfolios in Nigeria at the moment. I call them new not because they necessarily in operations in the last one year, but because it became relevant in the last 2 to 3 years in Nigeria. And it was paramount for companies to have them.

Digital marketer: Every company, brand or organization needs a digital marketer. No company can boost of a huge profit margin without the aid of a digital marketing.

Digital marketing is promoting and marketing of products and services through the internet/online platforms like social media, blogs, websites, search engines, emails and other medium. The rate at which companies are looking for digital marketers to enhance their online presence and dominance is massively increasing. So the job portfolio, digital marketer is very hot currently.

Content writer: Content writer is another hot ICT job portfolio and highly in demand. Content writers provide and develop contents of organizations to help advertise, promote, build and maintain brands most especially online. Any serious company that is into sales of product and services, willing to succeed needs content writer to develop marketable contents optimized for websites, blogs, social media and other digital avenues. This job portfolio is highly in demand.

Social media executive: it’s not possible for you to have the above 2 job portfolios without this unless you merge them together. Social media executive or personnel or managers, depending on how you want to put it, provided there is social media attached to it. This job portfolio is very hot and relevant in every industry. That’s why Government of countries of the world spend millions recruiting social media personnel to handle their social media affairs. No serious organization can go much farther without social media executives to handle their social media affairs.

Network Bulls must be an institution in INDIA right? What about NIGERIA?

Please what's MEAN STACKS?

This is where your gonna have enough issue...at this stage, no question should surprise you. With smartphone n google, you should be able to research anything on your own without asking. If you can't use google, forget about being a programmer.

And Network Bull is in India, that's why I recommended it. I don't know any better Nigeria school...Maybe AfriHub anyway...

Very true. Sadly, the original poster has little or no idea.

I was expecting to see something more intelligent.

3 most sought after ICT Jobs, Really?? Social media expert?
Anyone can effectively combine this 3 'jobs' in one, and still be idle. Even if you wanted to go the digital marketing way, You would have said something smart like 'SEO specialist or SEO expert'. Besides, many coys will rather contract digital marketing to an agency so they can focus on what really matters..

For those who really wanna know what the Top ICT jobs in Nigeria are. Its simple. Search job portals. It will always be Software Developers. Either Web, Mobile, or basic UI/UX designers. The market demand is huge, And yet still the number of good devs are very few.

You really wanna stay around top jobs, then stay around App development. I am talking Business Analysts, Software Developers, Software Test Engineers/Testers, then System Admins With all of the linux and scripting. (Not desktop admin).

And really, not all these jobs requires you to code. Just a solid understanding of how code works and systems are designed.

Nice follow up, but ur not completely correct talking about digital marketing.

Maybe d poster didn't put his write up correctly, but u cannot just with d wave of hand push away a digital marketer. It's a full time job not an idlers job. Won't go into details, but do more research on what that job entails. It can be a small job and big at d same time.

The challenge is that in Naija we like big names and familiar portfolios, that we forget that times have changed.

Still like ur submission tho.

All I know today is from YouTube and that's what i'm using to earn today NOT even my B.Sc. Mathematics certificate. Those study centres only gives you materials to read read all the time, no much practicals..So with YouTube, you get to practicalize as you watch the video. But if you choose to still go to a study centre, I would advice you goto Network Bulls in Indian. cool

*NOTE*: Go and learn MEAN stack

Please where can i learn this MEAN stack? I live in Lagos, is it an online training?

Go to YouTube type mean stack. You should see helpful tutorials. But you can't just learn it just like that. You must have knowledge of JavaScript before entering that side.
