Unilorin admission seekers who have been given admission into the university but have been denied clearance after payment of acceptance fees have taken to a peaceful protest to voice out their grievances. It was gathered that due to the new curriculum in secondary school involving new subjects such as Vocational Education subjects among others some admission seekers have been denied entry into the institution after been admitted. Some other students complained that they were denied clearance due to irregularities in documents names with which they applied into the University
Speaking with a group of student the SUG President said there was not much he could do considering their status as it's a management affair and he wouldn't want to give them false hope.
As at the time of this write up the management has not come forward that address the student who are staging a protest in front of the Senate building
