Accounts Assistant with Reception Cover

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum

My Client , a highly prestigious Investment Management Firm based in the heart of the West End, have a fantastic opportunity for a bright and keen individual to learn to support the Accounts Manager with general accounts duties. This role will also include providing cover on reception from 08.30 to 09.30 and during the lunchtime period. Standard working hours are 08.30am to 16, 30.

Brief outline of duties:

Reception Cover - (08.30 - 09.30 & providing lunch cover) Will involve answering switchboard in a professional manner, meeting & greeting clients & visitors, booking couriers, preparation of meeting rooms, making teas & coffees etc.

Accounts Assistant - Producing cheque run, checking invoices/expense claims, writing payment forms and cheques, daily income analysis, updating cashbooks, ordering and checking foreign drafts, bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, ordering foreign currency for staff, maintenance and creation of schedules using MS Excel, ad hoc assistance to Accounts Manager.

Skills/Experience Required:

Good MS Excel - able to create and maintain spreadsheets
Numerate with a high level of accuracy attention to detail
Some experience of basic accounts is highly desirable
Educated to A' Level (or equivalent)
Must be well spoken and well presented

We are looking for Doorstep Fundraisers.

Hugely successful market leader urgently require an accomplished Senior Oracle DBA with considerable team leading/management experience for a business critical role in Central London. A list of key skills is listed below but you will essentially be a Senior Oracle DBA having lead a team of Oracle DBA 's in a production environment - RAC, Dataguard, RMAN and PL/SQL skills are of course a must

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

-Proven team management skills & experience managing a DBA team
-Considerable production Oracle DBA experience up to 10g
-Hands on support of a high volume, transactional internet based trading or online gaming environment
-Experience of Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, ASM, ADDM and AWR
-Oracle performance troubleshooting skills & SQL tuning
-Experience of SQL, PL/SQL

IDEALLY YOU ALSO HAVE:

-Datawarehouse design & implementation
-BI intelligence tools/reporting tools
-Knowledge of JBOSS or BEA Weblogic
-Quest product toolset
-Knowledge of Quest product toolset
-Knowledge of SQL server
-Exposure to Oracle 11g

ROLE INFORMATION:

As Oracle DBA team leader/manager, you will be required to manager, motivate & mentor a team of Oracle DBA 's and developers whilst providing an Oracle technical lead for the entire team. Other duties will include recruitment, planning & scheduling team member's time and performing database software upgrades, application upgrades & database software installations.
