Wild dogs have bigger brains than tame dogs despite that they are thesame specie. So, the average brain size of wild dogs is larger than that of tame dogs that live with and perform tasks for human beings. Thesame applies for all animals like cattle, goat and etc. The wild specie is always with a larger brain which probably is an indication of higher intelligence of a kind.

Thesame applies to human beings. Civilized humans who live in large groups are tame humans much like tame animals while nomads are wild humans. Even isolated communities who live directly off nature like the bushmen of the Kalahari desert, American Indian tribes in the amazon forest living off the land are also wild people of another sort. The average raw intelligence of wild people should tend to be higher than that of tame people living inside walled cities under a government. Though at first glance, it looks as if the civilized people are more intelligent but no, they are more advanced because of better organisation and cooperation but average individual intelligence and wariness will be lower than the average of wild people living off the land not being spoonfed by any government.

Which one is now better?
The situation is a reminder to the eternal fact 'You can not have it all', just like the gap between humans and computers or AI. One got the speed and the other the strategy. That is how the universe works. No one can have it all. However joining of hands together to build human civilization is the best while we make conscious efforts not to lose ourselves. A wild human culture dont do religion for instance, they are above that. So if we join hands together to build civilization, we must also join hands together to maintain wariness and intelligence at a certain minimum. We do this by teaching.
