Banislav Ivanovich has completed his transfer to Russian heavyweight zenith st Petersburg after spending a successful nine years at Chelsea were he won nine major trophies, which includes 2 EPL titles, 3 fa cups, 2 Carling/capital one cup, one Uefa champions League, one Europa league and one Community shield.




Ivanovich joined Chelsea from another Russian club Locomotiv Moscow, he played mainly as a right back for the blues. But sometimes he was utilized in a more central position as a centre back.

His attacking abilities was what make him so loved by many Chelsea supporters as his return of 22 goals in 261 matches is very impressive for a defender. His departure is going to be a huge loss for Chelsea.
