You've probably heard theists yapping about how God is all powerful, all knowing and all good, even though their various books do not agree with that, they just choose "blind faith", like what kind of an all good God kills innocent souls because some people are guilty??

Let's hit the nail on the head..

God is not Omnipotent / All powerful

From the beginning of the Bible, Genesis, it proved God is not omnipotent, because he created the earth in "6 days" and RESTED on the seventh day... Couldn't he have created everything within the twinkle of an eye? And why does an all powerful being need rest? Probably because he is not all powerful after all.. .

God is not Omniscient or Omni-knoweth and omnipresent

Remember when he was asking Adam and Eve why they were hiding? And he got mad when he discovered that they've eaten the forbidden fruit? This proves he didn't know when Adam and Eve were eating the fruit, or maybe he knew and was just trying to confirm (wait, this means he wasn't sure ), or he was sure but just trying to fu-ck with them, which makes him a joker!

God is not all good

A God who could order the killings of little kids by bears just because they mocked his prophet is everything but Good..

A God who could allow things like the Holocaust, WWII, ISIS, EBOLA, AIDS is not an all good God..

A God whom already knows your climax but just trying to fu-ck with your life is a real joker, he already knows you are going to hell but still creates you to go to hell, is that one a good God?

Is God really all knowing?

Why there is no sin

Religion made us to understand that before we were "created", God has already planned our lives, and EVERYTHING that happens is according to God's grand plan.. Which means isis is just a part of God's plan , aids, hiv, just everything is going as planned by God.. And if he's supposed to be omniscient, why is he even upset with humanity in the first place? He created the people fully knowing what they would eventually do.

An all knowing god can't be shocked or upset by what its creatures do. It would have known before starting what the outcome would be. It would be like Pacman's creator being surprised that Pac can gobble ghosts after eating one of the power-up dots.

God reveals his true self to those who diligently seek him. He leaves people like you to guess who he is.
So my advice; if you wanna know who God really is, seek him in spirit by giving your life to him

I am an atheist. I don’t believe in gods. None of them. Not yours, not theirs, not that one or this one. There is no evidence that gods exist. Period. I didn't start out atheist. I was raised Christian, and stayed that way until my early teens, when I started questioning and reading.

I haven’t prejudged anything, I came to these conclusions years ago after a whole lot of research. So far, I haven’t seen or heard any new arguments that persuade me to buy into religion. For me to believe the stories of the Bible are divine inspiration, I would first have to believe in the divine.

Clearly I don’t insist on Genesis being historical. Not a problem for me, but I live in a country where over 96% of the population believe in Adam and Eve, Noah, angles and demons as real and/or historical beings. That may not describe you, but that is way too many people who fail to connect with reality as far as I’m concerned.

There is nothing I've read or heard about that makes the mythology of a miracle working Jesus at all real for me. There are at least two common scenarios for these stories.

1. Jesus was the son of god, born of a virgin, worked miracles and was resurrected after his execution by the Romans

OR

2. That was all made up, because we know that those kinds of stories were common in the day, and everyone of any importance was some kind of magic worker, son of a god or brought back to life.

Our understanding of reality, and the complete dearth of evidence for any of the above makes it easy for me to pick a side on this.

I happen to know many modern intelligent people who believe this nonsense. Some of them are involved in science and have no problem partitioning their mind so as to hold science and reason while also embracing some form of religion including Christianity. Some are friends and some are family. I suggest that your mind reading skills are lacking. (That’s OK because I don’t believe in mind reading either). I think it unlikely in the extreme that god(s) spoke to anyone, even thousands of years ago because as of yet there is no evidence for said god(s).

The Bible is written just the way I would expect the book to be written if it was put together by men (who knows, maybe some women, too) 2000 to 2500 years ago who had limited understanding of the world. There is nothing in it that speaks of inspiration except perhaps in the story telling aspect, but really nothing revealing or earth shattering, though I rather like some of Ecclesiastes and if you cherry pick the New Testament, there is some decent material there, though much of it can be found in many other writings.

God is all that. Just that people miss understand how it works.
God is a force, an energy. It feels our inner soul, there is a way your soul vibrates and it reaches the energy force called God. That force/ energy would answer to the rich, the sick, the poor and the healthy. Anyone from any religion. It doesn't discriminate. A dying man's Or a man in danger vibrational energy would resonate with God energy and he is saved whille another's vibe may not get to that level then we wonder where was God if he isn't saved. One broke man's vibe from his desperation for deliverance may align with God energy and things turn around for him while another s may not vibrate at hat level and his prayers or desires go unanswered.
That force responds to all humanity no mater your beliefs as long as your vibe can resonate at the same level or frequency as God energy.
To maximise this posibility, that is why people organize to pray in groups. Someone's vibe in that prayer circle may be at the same level with the God energy and align. Making the desire and aim of the prayer fulfilled.
Even in our daily lives some times our vibes aligns with God energy and the desire is met(it may not be a prayer, just a wish, thought or desire) a passing thought and it happens as desired. While some times, even prayers may not change anything if one does not hit that viberational level with God energy . So, I guess that is why the good book says, pray without ceasing. You never know when that prayer, wish, desire vibe would align you with God force/energy and then bam, your wish is granted

The Attributes of OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPOTENCE, and OMNIPRESENCE are Man-Made Doctrines, NOT GOD-MADE.

You've probably heard theists yapping about how God is all powerful, all knowing and all good, even though their various books do not agree with that, they just choose "blind faith", like what kind of an all good God kills innocent souls because some people are guilty??

Let's hit the nail on the head..

God is not Omnipotent / All powerful

From the beginning of the Bible, Genesis, it proved God is not omnipotent, because he created the earth in "6 days" and RESTED on the seventh day... Couldn't he have created everything within the twinkle of an eye? And why does an all powerful being need rest? Probably because he is not all powerful after all.. .

God is not Omniscient or Omni-knoweth and omnipresent

Remember when he was asking Adam and Eve why they were hiding? And he got mad when he discovered that they've eaten the forbidden fruit? This proves he didn't know when Adam and Eve were eating the fruit, or maybe he knew and was just trying to confirm (wait, this means he wasn't sure ), or he was sure but just trying to fu-ck with them, which makes him a joker!

This is incredibly shallow. I usually ignore such pile of dirt but I go will ahead to VERY EASILY refute this because I was mentioned and I'm free to .

1. The word "shabat" was the Hebrew word used which was translated to "rest" , but it means “to cease or stop.” I think the English translators wanted to maintain the anthropomorphic nature of God to pass the message that we need rest - showing the importance of the Sabbath day - after long hours of work through out the other days of the week. So a direct translation that is clearly congruent with the context is " God ceased or stopped creation.

2. God asking questions doesn't mean he is not omniscient. There are many answers that I thought about to the question but I'll try to keep it simple. Remember, if you at all know that, the authors of the Bible used anthropomorphism to make God relatable to humans. So the question doesn't express a lack of knowledge of Adam's location. It is more of an expression of His desire for Adam's availability to return to his role which he abandoned hiding away from Him because of the guilt caused by his sin and rebellion.

About theophanies - which is the physical manifestation of God - God taking a human appearance limited His presence to a particular location. Yes, God is omnipresent in his full nature as a non-physical , infinite being, but when he takes a physical form, he becomes finite and confined to particular location. Christ is argued to have appeared to Adam and Eve and to Moses , so such appearances are called Christophanies - they prove the pre-existence of Christ.

3. God is The Good or Goodness. And morality is rooted in God's immutable nature. So what is morally good becomes ethically right if an only if it is congruent with the commandment of God. So whatever God commands is good, because He is The Good. Without God, there is no objective standard of goodness and morality, so you cannot subjectively define something as good or evil, when clearly, such value judgement rest entirely on your personal opinion and expect it to be necessary true regardless of personal opinion : nothing is is right or wrong if morality is subjective . So without God, The Good or Goodness, how can you evaluate a moral action as objectively good or evil? You can't. So if value judgements are entirely subjective, then anyone can say that the Holocaust was good as the Nazis thought, or child sacrifice is good as the Aztecs and worshipers of Molech thought, or serial rape and murder of women is good as practical atheist Ted Bundy insisted. What makes these things wrong if there is no God whose nature provides the objective standard of goodness??

Why does God permit evil? Because He has morally sufficient reasons to. It's that simple.

4. The word "sin" originated from a word which meant "missing the mark" or "being in error". Because there is an objective standard of morality, to fall short means to sin . Or the failure to follow God's commandment means " being in error". Example : God commands us not to lie. If you lie, then you are in error, thus have sinned.
