Welcome to this post on Build Intelligent Smart Cities & Homes. Am going to be talking you through value creation for property owner and city administrator using intelligent & smart building design to wealth creation ( essentially to make you property/real estate owner financially buoyant ).

With the increasing numbers of FOR LET sign across the cities, many property owner are becoming debtors despite the amount of money they might have invested on such property. Many property owners are becoming frustrated. Many new comers/investors into the property business are becoming victims because many property owners/investors alike fail to answer the fundamental question:

* How useful is my property to the end user ?
* How much value will the user get for the money paid as rent ?

How useful and efficient is your property in a fire disaster ?

In the midst of fire, how much of your investment will be left behind , you probably be losing all your investment if you had not taken caution.
you can prevent fire with a fraction of the cost of rebuilding your house by installing professional smoke detector and fire resistance coat. This method is the most secure and cost friendly method .

Other methods:

you can take up insurance policy. should you pay 400000 Naira per month as premium for 12 months . that a total of 4.8 million in a year. In five years 24 million paid to your insurance company. that a cost of securing another property. be wise.

Will you be willing to pay 24 million Naira as premium to secure your property/investment....technically with the present state of the Nigerian economy; it not an optimal solution or cost friendly method to secure your property against fire.

How does it work and benefit of strategic fire protection:

Fire resistant and retardant coats offer several advantages over untreated combustible building materials, they do not ignite or contribute to the spread of flame . The coatings, will insulate the surface from the heat for a period of time ( based on it rating ) by swelling up and expanding when exposed to flame, producing a heat resistant charred surface.

The relative rate at which flame spreads over a given surface and the degree of smoke development and toxicity. class ratings and their associated flame spread ratings are as follows:

Class Flame spread
Class "A" or I: 0-25
Class "B" or II: 26-75
Class "C" or III: 76-200

Fire retardant and fire resistant coatings that can withstand extreme temperatures (up to 2000° Fahrenheit) for an extended time (over two hours period). This fire retardant and fire resistant coatings can be applied on a wide variety of materials including sheetrock, wood, lath and plaster, concrete, sheet metal, tin, foam, foam composite panels as well as advanced materials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber. This makes a perfect security and safety for your building or property.

It a one time cost and last longer with the age of your property as compare to the option 1 of paying for insurance premium .

It advisable you do a two coat over every surface to guarantee maximum protection.

Consider your option carefully.

Avoid buying fake fire resistant and retardant fire coat. Always check the expiring date
